Initially obtained in June 2013, MDA have worked consistently over the past 18 months to set and maintain quality standards within the practice. With recertification looming 3 years later in June 2016 an audit of the whole business was conducted by CCAS and took place in April to determine MDA’s qualification. Lisa Giovine, acting as the company’s quality manager, worked alongside the auditor for 2 days assisting in all areas of enquiry. The result was an excellent report from the auditors and confirmation that the certification will be reissued. Said Lisa Giovine, “that is good news for MDA who, in this fast paced dynamic industry, can stand tall amongst their competitors knowing that all procedures are carried out in a professional way to the benefit of our clients. But that doesn’t mean we can sit back on our laurels. With the industry standard changing over the next couple of years we have to now interpret the new standard of ISO 9001:2015 and ensure we are prepared for the transition”.
